This privacy policy sets out how UAB "Siunta EU" - Couriers for Less uses the information you provide when visiting this website.

1. DEFINITIONS

  • 1.1 Seller – UAB "Siunta EU", legal entity code: 303019133, registered office address: Pylimo g. 35/31, Vilnius, through its website kurjeriaipigiau.lt, seeks to ensure that all services provided on the website are secure and accessible to website visitors. This document informs what information may be collected from website visitors and for what purposes the Company uses the information received.
  • 1.2 Couriers for Less - parcel ordering and management system located at kurjeriaipigiau.lt
  • 1.3 User - 1) a legally capable natural person, i.e., a person who has reached the age of majority and whose legal capacity is not restricted by court order; 2) a minor between fourteen and eighteen years of age who has the consent of their parents or guardians; 3) a legal entity; 4) duly authorized representatives of all the aforementioned persons.
  • 1.4 Service Provider - a legal entity chosen by the User to actually perform the Courier Services.
  • 1.5 Account - the result of the User's registration on kurjeriaipigiau.lt, which creates an account storing their personal data and order history.
  • 1.6 Couriers for Less accounts – these are the Couriers for Less accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other social networks, which provide information about Couriers for Less and the Services provided therein, as well as sharing content published by Users.
  • 1.7 Services – all services provided to the User by Couriers for Less.
  • 1.8 Cookie – a small file sent to a device when any person visits Couriers for Less. This concept includes not only cookies, but also the use of similar technologies.
  • 1.9 Password – a unique combination of letters and numbers created by the User and known only to them, which is entered for the first time when registering on Couriers for Less and is subsequently used to log in to the Account.
  • 1.10 Browser – a program designed to display web pages (websites) on the web or a personal computer.
  • 1.11 Personal Data – any information relating to a natural person – a data subject, whose identity is known or can be directly or indirectly identified.
  • 1.12 Personal Data Controller – UAB "Siunta EU"
  • 1.13 Privacy Policy – this document, which sets out the main rules for the collection, accumulation, processing, and storage of Personal Data when using Couriers for Less.
  • 1.14 IP Address – A unique number assigned to every computer connected to the internet, known as an Internet Protocol (IP) address. Since these numbers are usually assigned by country blocks, an IP address can often be used to identify the country from which the computer is connecting to the internet.
  • 1.15 Rules – The Terms and Conditions of Services within the parcel ordering and management system kurjeriaipigiau.lt.
  • 1.16 Direct Marketing – an activity intended to offer goods or services to persons by mail, telephone, or other direct means and/or to inquire about their opinion regarding offered goods or services.

2. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  • 2.1 The Privacy Policy of Couriers for Less sets out the main rules for the collection, accumulation, and processing of Personal Data when the User uses the Services offered by Couriers for Less.
  • 2.2 The Privacy Policy is designed to protect and defend the Personal Data of Couriers for Less Users from unauthorized use. The Privacy Policy also applies to Couriers for Less Accounts.
  • 2.3 The User is considered to have familiarized themselves with and read this Privacy Policy when they express consent to the processing of their Personal Data.
  • 2.4 The Privacy Policy can be reviewed and printed at any time on Couriers for Less. Users will always be informed of any future changes and/or amendments to the Privacy Policy by publishing the new edition of the Privacy Policy on Couriers for Less, and by providing Buyers with the technical opportunity to read and confirm the new version of the Privacy Policy upon logging in to Couriers for Less for the first time under the new version.
  • 2.5 UAB "Siunta EU" is not registered in the Personal Data Protection Controllers Register.
  • 2.6 Users should note that Couriers for Less contains links to the websites of other persons, companies, or organizations, and that UAB "Siunta EU" is not responsible for the content of such websites and/or the privacy assurance methods they use. Therefore, before submitting information about themselves, the User should review the rules, Privacy Policy, and other documents of the respective website.
  • 2.7 Persons may place parcel orders on kurjeriaipigiau.lt by registering on kurjeriaipigiau.lt, as well as without registering. A User who has not registered is required to provide the following Personal Data: the Sender's and Recipient's names / company names, addresses, postal codes, and active mobile phone numbers and/or email addresses. These data are used solely for purposes related to the provision of UAB "Siunta EU" services mentioned in the Rules.
  • 2.7 (Additional) Persons wishing to register on kurjeriaipigiau.lt must provide their email address and a self-created Password. An Account is created during registration. Within the Account, the User enters their own data—first name, last name, phone number, and email address—and therefore is solely responsible for the accuracy of this data. The User may at any time:
    • 2.7.1 Correct and/or supplement the Personal Data in the Account. The User is responsible for the accuracy of the corrected and/or supplemented data.
    • 2.7.2 Contact Couriers for Less via email at kurjeriaipigiau@siunta.eu or info@siunta.eu regarding the deletion of the Account.
    • 2.7.3 kurjeriaipigiau.lt requests a bank account number from the User only in the event that the User intends to use the additional C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) service.

3. PROCEDURE FOR THE STORAGE AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

  • 3.1 The User agrees that their first name, last name, email address, phone number, and IP address on kurjeriaipigiau.lt shall be processed for activity analysis purposes. Accordingly, kurjeriaipigiau.lt grants the Buyer the right, upon registering on kurjeriaipigiau.lt or placing an order, to express their consent or refusal for their first name, last name, email address, phone number, and IP address on kurjeriaipigiau.lt to be processed for direct marketing purposes as well.
  • 3.2 If the User, after purchasing services, does not wish for the Personal Data specified in clause 3.1 to be used for Direct Marketing or activity analysis purposes, the User must notify kurjeriaipigiau.lt via email at kurjeriaipigiau@siunta.eu or info@siunta.eu, or call the general kurjeriaipigiau.lt customer consultation phone number at +370 604 60441 and indicate that they do not wish to receive emails.
  • 3.3 UAB "Siunta EU" confirms that the Personal Data provided by the User will be processed solely for the purpose of properly providing the services offered on the electronic parcel order and management system kurjeriaipigiau.lt. UAB "Siunta EU" also confirms that the Personal Data provided by the Buyer will be processed for the purposes of activity analysis and Direct Marketing of kurjeriaipigiau.lt, provided that the User gives and does not revoke such consent. The storage duration established for Personal Data to be used for Direct Marketing purposes is three calendar years from the moment such data is provided..
  • 3.4 UAB "Siunta EU" undertakes not to disclose the User's Personal Data to third parties, except in the following cases:
    • 3.4.1 When fulfilling an order or providing other services—to UAB "Siunta EU" partners providing parcel delivery or other services ordered by the User.
    • 3.4.2 To law enforcement institutions in accordance with the procedure established by the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
    • 3.4.3 If necessary to prevent or investigate criminal offenses.
  • 3.5 The User has the following rights:
    • 3.5.1 Upon submitting a written inquiry to kurjeriaipigiau.lt, to review their Personal Data held by the Seller. The information is provided to the User at the email address indicated by them.
    • 3.5.2 Upon submitting a written inquiry to kurjeriaipigiau.lt, to receive information on which sources and what Personal Data have been collected, for what purpose they are processed, and to which data recipients they are provided and have been provided at least over the past 1 (one) year. The information is provided to the User at the email address indicated by them.
    • 3.5.3 Upon submitting a written request to the Seller via email at kokybe@siunta.eu or by phone at +370 604 60441, to demand the deletion of the Account or the suspension of Personal Data processing actions when Personal Data is processed in violation of the provisions of the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data and other laws, except in cases provided for in the Privacy Policy.
    • 3.5.4 By disagreeing with the Privacy Policy, to refuse the processing of their Personal Data. In this case, the User will not have the opportunity to purchase services in the electronic parcel order and management system kurjeriaipigiau.lt.
    • 3.5.5 Both by immediately expressing their disagreement and by submitting a subsequent notification in the manner provided in clause 3.2 of the Privacy Policy, to refuse the processing of their Personal Data for Direct Marketing purposes.
  • 3.6 During parcel delivery/pickup, the Buyer's identity document presented for review to an employee of AB Lietuvos Paštas (Lithuanian Post), a courier service employee, or a parcel pickup center employee, and the Buyer's data contained therein, are used solely for proper identity verification.
  • 3.7 By agreeing to this Privacy Policy, the User agrees that their Personal Data shall be used in order to fulfill their order, regardless of whether they order services from kurjeriaipigiau.lt as the seller or from Partners as defined in clause 1.4 of the Privacy Policy, including agreeing that their Personal Data will be transferred to kurjeriaipigiau.lt partners as defined in clause 1.4 of the Privacy Policy, as well as processed by kurjeriaipigiau.lt or its appointed data processor for the purposes of order fulfillment and activity analysis.
  • 3.8 The User's Personal Data is provided to European Union Member States or other foreign countries under the same terms and procedures as entities located in the Republic of Lithuania and solely for the purposes provided for in this Privacy Policy.
  • 3.9 UAB "Siunta EU" stores Personal Data for as long as the person uses the services of kurjeriaipigiau.lt, except in cases specified in this Privacy Policy. Following the deletion of the Account, in order to implement the requirements set forth in clause 3.12 of the Privacy Policy, the User's Personal Data may be stored on the Data Controller's server for up to six months, except in the cases specified in clause 3.12 of the Privacy Policy and lawful requirements of law enforcement institutions to store them.
  • 3.10 By means of internal organizational and technical measures, UAB "Siunta EU" ensures that the Personal Data provided by the User on kurjeriaipigiau.lt is protected against any unlawful actions: unauthorized modification, disclosure, or destruction of Personal Data, identity theft, and fraud, and that the level of Personal Data protection complies with the requirements of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania.
  • 3.11 Personal Data is protected against loss, unauthorized use, and alterations. All User Passwords are encrypted; servers related to Personal Data can only be accessed by persons authorized by the Data Controller and exclusively via a secure certificate that is additionally protected by a password; furthermore, all kurjeriaipigiau.lt pages that require the entry of Personal Data operate via the https:// protocol.
  • 3.12 The User undertakes and is obliged to safeguard their password and login name for logging in to kurjeriaipigiau.lt, as well as other data. The User undertakes and is obliged not to disclose to any other third parties Personal Data either about themselves or about third parties, if such third-party Personal Data became accessible to them, and to immediately inform UAB "Siunta EU" about any visible violations.
  • 3.13 The User agrees in advance that UAB "Siunta EU" has the right to store the User's Personal Data on the server for as long as necessary due to the specific nature of the activities carried out by kurjeriaipigiau.lt, if the data provided by the User was (1) used in carrying out an illegal act, or (2) it was suspected that identity theft or another violation was committed, which has resulted or will result in an investigation by the relevant law enforcement institutions, (3) if UAB "Siunta EU" has received complaints related to the respective User, or if UAB "Siunta EU" has noticed violations of the Rules committed by the respective User, or (4) for other legitimate purposes of storing Personal Data. These data are destroyed upon receipt of lawful instructions from law enforcement or other authorized institutions.
  • 3.14 Any request or instruction related to the processing of Personal Data must be submitted by the User to UAB "Siunta EU" in writing in one of the following ways: 1) by delivering such request or instruction directly to UAB "Siunta EU" at Pylimo g. 35/31, LT-0309, Vilnius; 2) by sending such request or instruction via email at kurjeriaipigiau@siunta.eu or info@siunta.eu from the User's email address specified in clause 3.1 of the Privacy Policy. Upon receiving such a request or instruction from the User, UAB "Siunta EU" shall provide a response to the User and perform the actions specified in the request or refuse to perform them no later than within 30 (thirty) calendar days. Upon the User's request, the response must be provided in writing.
  • 3.15 When administering kurjeriaipigiau.lt and diagnosing potential malfunctions, the Administrator may use Users' IP addresses.

4. CORRECTION, SUPPLEMENTATION, AND ERASURE OF PERSONAL DATA

  • 4.1 The User grants kurjeriaipigiau.lt the right to collect, manage, process, and store the User's Personal Data to the extent and for the purposes provided for in the Privacy Policy and other documents of kurjeriaipigiau.lt.
  • 4.2 The granting or revocation of consent to collect, manage, process, and store the User's Personal Data shall apply prospectively only. Upon receiving such a notice from the User via email or other methods provided for in the Privacy Policy, kurjeriaipigiau.lt shall immediately suspend the processing of the User's Personal Data and delete their Account; however, this does not mean that kurjeriaipigiau.lt is required to delete from the server/destroy Personal Data if there is a lawful basis to retain them, particularly when it is necessary to ensure state security and defense, public order, crime prevention, investigation, detection, or prosecution, to protect important state economic or financial interests, or to safeguard the rights and freedoms of other persons.
  • 4.3 The User has the right to access their Personal Data by submitting a document proving identity to UAB "Siunta EU" (a Republic of Lithuania citizen's passport, Republic of Lithuania passport, personal identity card, or driver's license must be presented for identity verification). In order to find out what Personal Data kurjeriaipigiau.lt has collected or received and from what sources, for what purposes they are processed, to which recipients they are provided and have been provided, or whether all of the User's Personal Data is complete and correct, the User must contact UAB "Siunta EU" in advance at the email address specified in this Privacy Policy. Upon receiving such an inquiry from the User, UAB "Siunta EU" shall respond as to whether Personal Data related to the User is being processed and provide the data requested by the User no later than within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of receipt of the User's request. Data under this clause is provided free of charge once per calendar year.
  • 4.4 If, upon reviewing their Personal Data, the User determines that the Personal Data has been collected or obtained from unlawful sources, or that the Personal Data is processed for purposes other than those for which it is provided, the User has the right to contact UAB "Siunta EU" via email requesting the suspension of such Personal Data processing actions. A User who uses kurjeriaipigiau.lt without registering, upon receiving a response from kurjeriaipigiau.lt in which they notice inaccuracies or errors in their Personal Data, has the right to demand that their Personal Data be clarified and corrected as soon as possible, but no later than within 5 (five) working days. A User who uses kurjeriaipigiau.lt as a registered user corrects their Personal Data themselves by logging into their Account. Kurjeriaipigiau.lt has the right to correct, supplement, or delete Personal Data, or suspend Personal Data processing actions only after identifying the identity of the User who has submitted the request.
  • 4.5 If kurjeriaipigiau.lt doubts the correctness of the Personal Data provided by the User, it may suspend the processing of such Users' Personal Data, verify and correct these data. Such Personal Data is used solely for the purpose of verifying its correctness.
  • 4.6 In exercising the aforementioned rights, the User may contact UAB "Siunta EU" at the email address info@siunta.eu.

5. COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

  • 5.1 In order to provide the User with full services of the kurjeriaipigiau.lt electronic parcel ordering and management system, Cookies may be stored on the User's computer (device). The User has the opportunity to review what information (Cookies) kurjeriaipigiau.lt or its Partners store and may delete some or all of the stored Cookies. By confirming the Privacy Policy, the User agrees to the storage of the Cookies provided for in this Privacy Policy on their computer (device). The User may revoke this consent at any time by changing their internet browser settings; however, in such a case, certain functions of the kurjeriaipigiau.lt electronic parcel ordering and management system may not work for them. The User must personally inquire about the Cookies used by the partners of kurjeriaipigiau.lt.
  • 5.2 Cookies used by kurjeriaipigiau.lt:
    • 5.2.1 Type of cookies – intended for collecting information to calculate visitor traffic (collecting statistical information), presenting content tailored to Users' interests, and saving visit history. kurjeriaipigiau.lt does not use this type of Cookies, but draws Users' attention to the fact that some partners of kurjeriaipigiau.lt may use this type of Cookies; therefore, a User suspecting that this type of Cookies is being used without their consent should contact the specific partner of kurjeriaipigiau.lt.
  • 5.3 We store your Personal Data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or for the period provided for by legal acts.

6. FINAL PROVISIONS

  • 6.1 This Privacy Policy enters into force on May 25, 2018. Any changes to the Privacy Policy shall be notified in the manner provided for in clause 2.4 of this Privacy Policy.
